Job Description
Leading the installation; configuration; and upgrading of PostgreSQL database server software and related products.Designing and implementing database solutions and strategies to ensure high availability; performance; and security.Performing regular backups; recovery; and restoration procedures for PostgreSQL databases.Monitoring and optimizing database performance through performance tuning and query optimization.Managing database access and security; including user permissions; roles; and privileges.Implementing and maintaining database replication; clustering; and failover solutions.Troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues in a timely manner.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support application development and deployment activities.Mentoring and providing guidance to junior DBAs and other team members.Developing and maintaining documentation related to database configurations; processes; and procedures.
